mt CASA Wide Washi Tape Set

The MT Casa washi tape set brings the celebrated craftsmanship of Japan's original washi tape maker into a collection designed for larger scale creative work, making it a natural fit for planners, scrapbookers, and stationery lovers who want to decorate more than just the margins of a notebook. Produced by mt, the brand that pioneered washi tape as a decorative medium, this casa line uses the same rice-paper-based adhesive tape beloved for its soft matte finish, gentle texture, and ability to be layered, torn by hand, and repositioned without damaging paper or leaving sticky residue. Because the tape is semi-transparent, washi enthusiasts can overlap colors and patterns directly on planner pages, journals, and paper crafts to build dimension and subtle color shifts that solid stickers or markers simply cannot achieve.

Each set typically features a curated palette of coordinating solid colors, soft patterns, or seasonal motifs designed to work together harmoniously, so planner users can mix and match strips across weekly spreads, habit trackers, and monthly calendars without worrying about clashing tones. The rolls are sized generously compared to standard mt tape, making them well suited to bordering larger planner pages, wrapping notebook covers, labeling folders, or creating full washi-paper backgrounds for bullet journal spreads. The paper tape tears cleanly along both straight and curved edges, which planner enthusiasts appreciate when creating rounded dividers, banners, or decorative tabs without needing scissors.

Beyond planners, the MT Casa washi tape set appeals to anyone building an organized, visually cohesive stationery system, from teachers decorating classroom calendars to crafters wrapping gift tags and pen cases. Its low-tack yet durable adhesive allows for temporary color-coding on calendars and to-do lists, so colors can be swapped out as projects or seasons change. Packaged in mt's signature minimalist box, the set itself becomes a desk-worthy object, reflecting the brand's reputation for thoughtful design that treats everyday paper tape as a genuine tool for creative expression in stationery and planning routines.
